Production chefs work as part of a team to produce delicious menus and daily meals across a large selection of sectors. They report to the senior production chef and will apply organisational skills, energy and attention to detail to produce excellent standards of food whilst maintaining an outstanding quality of hygiene.
The duration of this course is typically 13 months. End Point Assessment (EPA) duration is 3 months. (16 months in total)
Learners will build upon important characteristics ensuring they are desirable for employers in the industry. They will demonstrate important characteristics such as leading by example and working accurately at all times. Learners will also look at ensuring safe and hygienic practices as well as challenging personal methods and implementing improvements.
