Nursery Rhyme Week - Makaton Videos

We’re proud to be celebrating World Nursery Rhyme week here at Busy Bees Education and Training, not only during the next seven days but all year round!
Nursery Rhymes are a fantastic way to encourage children to develop their communication, language and social skills, and they’re great fun too.
To help everyone join in the fun, our Makaton Tutor Becky Walker has shared some videos of her signing some of her favourite nursery rhymes. For those of you who are new to Makaton, is it a nationally recognised language programme that uses speech, signs and symbols to communicate everyday vocabulary. It is especially helpful for adults and children who may have communication difficulties, and if we all took the time to learn Makaton it would remove a lot of barriers so many people face day to day.
