BB Training Academy has received its fair share of awards over the last year, from the Tes FE award for apprenticeship programme to the Princess Royal Training award. We are proud of each one, and each time we receive an award we are delighted to have been recognised for our hard work and dedication to providing the best opportunities to our learners and helping to develop a skilled UK workforce.
We are equally as proud to have supported our sister company, Busy Bees, as they receive the ultimate in UK business awards, The Queen's Award for Promoting Opportunity.
The royal accolade, handed out in honour of the Queen’s 93rd birthday, recognises the organisation’s social mobility programme and commitment to quality training for its early years apprentices, and really highlights the need for businesses to provide a quality training provision to their workforce, as Busy Bees continue to grow and celebrate its success.
Busy Bees cares for 50,000 children across nearly 500 settings in the UK, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and China, its success can be directly related to its dedicated and much valued team of childcare professionals. To maintain the quality of its staff amid such growth, Busy Bees’ we have delivered management qualifications, apprenticeships and short courses to the nursery teams and provide accessible routes to employment and career progression, upskilling 3,765 members of staff to date.
Training is an integral part of Busy Bees and is an essential part of creating a high performing, inclusive learning environment that values diversity. We believe providing opportunities to people from all walks of life not only creates a dedicated, loyal and experienced workforce but enables us to deliver outstanding care to young children for working families, and I would encourage all businesses to do the same. After all, people are at the heart of every successful business.
