Let’s be honest, we might be very tempted to gorge on umpteen hot cross buns with lashings of butter, followed by a large helping of chocolate Easter egg, but in an ever expanding health conscious world could there be another way?

Yes there could and more importantly yes there is!

As such, it was very important to do some all-important digging to share with you these top healthy Easter picks. We pinkie promise that you will enjoy devouring these tasty suggestions packed with the same great taste, but filled with half the guilt!

Healthy Hot Cross Buns

Would Easter actually be Easter without the inclusion of hot cross buns? With a healthy version on offer, it would be silly to take these off the menu. Naturally sweetened with fruit and agave syrup, the sweetness of these Easter favourites is not lost! The only thing we will say, is these beauties require a little TLC, so set aside a baking day and indulge away. Thank you to 'Tales From the Kitchen' for sharing this recipe and the fab photo!
