key component in developing positive mental health for children and adults
alike.
Busy Bees
teamed up with Dr Lala Manners, a leading Early Years researcher, author and
trainer, to develop the Bee Curious
Physical Development programme.
This
masterclass looks at all aspects of physical progression, from the importance
of floor play to the four stages of grasping which leads to the Dynamic Tripod
Grip, and everything between.
In this session, we will cover:
- Understanding how being
physically active supports children’s general health
- An overview of the key
elements of the Bee Curious physical development programme
- Exploring what teaching in
physical development looks like
- Identifying the
progression of physical development in early years
- Linking physical
development to the Bee Curious Teaching Principles
