An Emergency First Aid at Work training course (EFAW training) is described by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as training that ‘enables a first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work’.
It includes fewer topics than the FAW course, and is designed to qualify trainers to respond confidently to emergency medical situations or deputise in the absence of the Trained FAW person.
This emergency first aid at work course will provide you with a basic understanding, recognition and treatment of injuries or illness and be competent in administering basic emergency first aid.

This course is suitable for anyone wishing to become a competent first aider in the workplace, who may need to exercise first aid on someone who because ill or injured in the workplace.
