Job Description

Your Mission

As a Finance Apprentice, you will support the Finance Business Partner in the daily running of the Training Finance Department.

You will assist in the processing and monitoring of Financial Data on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis.

 

Key Tasks


Bank statement, postings and reconciliation

 Download World pay transactions post invoices onto NetSuite and receipts

Check stakeholder websites for any invoices to be entered onto NetSuite as taken by direct debit

Debt Report - Comment on all debts and return to the Senior Management Accountant by the first week of the month and chase debt

Reconcile Expenses against costing report

Request Statements from Vendors to reconcile against Purchase ledger

Twice monthly Payment Run - Go through all invoices on payment run and decide which invoices should be paid. Then email remittances.

Organise refunds through World pay if approved

Invoices raised for all stakeholders

Purchase ledger statement - check every Invoice is on the system and chase if not

Manual / Adhoc Purchase ledger payments.

 

Requirements for the Role

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·       Able to work unsupervised and maintain work efficiency

·       Strong communication and IT skills

·       Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail

·       Use different online platforms effectively

·       To achieve assistant account apprenticeship level 3

·       To achieve Maths and English functional skills level 2.

 

Qualifications

Working towards level 2 in English and Maths.

 

Experience

·       Working with external stakeholders and developing relationships

·       Using IT systems


 

Personal Qualities

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers

·       Organised

·       Working independently.
