Job Description

As Quality & Compliance Director, you will provide strategic leadership across quality, compliance and curriculum agenda for Busy Bees Education and Training, ensuring apprentices achieve outstanding outcomes through a high-quality, safe and inspiring learning experience. Your leadership will be central to sustaining regulatory confidence, driving continuous improvement and reinforcing our reputation as a pioneering leader in Early Years apprenticeships.

You will act as the lead nominee for all regulated Further Education inspections, Funding Assurance reviews and Awarding Body activity. As Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer, you will set and embed a culture that prioritises safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion for all learners and team members.

You will ensure robust, effective quality systems and processes are in place to meet regulatory, contractual and stakeholder expectations, supporting excellent learner experiences and strong business performance. 

The Ideal Candidate  

You will be an experienced and credible Quality & Compliance Director with a strong track record of leading apprenticeship provision through successful Ofsted inspections and funding audits. You will bring expert knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules, regulatory frameworks and quality assurance, alongside the strategic capability to design and embed ambitious, high-impact curriculum. Strategic yet hands-on, you will confidently drive continuous improvement, lead self-assessment and quality planning, and influence senior leaders and operational teams to deliver consistently high-quality, compliant provision.

Experience:

• Senior leadership experience within Quality & Compliance in education and training.   

• Expert knowledge of the UK apprenticeship market and funding rules.

• Proven success as a nominee in Ofsted inspections under the Education inspection Framework.

• Strong experience of implementing pioneering curriculum design, blended delivery models and quality improvement.

• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, prevent Duty, health and safety and statutory compliance.
