The Lead Adult Care Worker qualiﬁcation builds on level 2 with increased responsibility for providing leadership, guidance and direction at the front-line of care delivery. Lead Adult Care Workers will learn to exercise judgment and accountability whilst working autonomously.
The duration of this course is typically 18 months. End Point Assessment (EPA) duration is 3 months. (21 months in total)
The learner will demonstrate characteristics similar to an Adult Care Worker but with the ability to lead a group as well as instruct professional and formal decisions across the workplace. The course will include how to:
