National Apprenticeship Week 2026

30/01/2026

National Apprenticeship Week 2026 takes place from 9th to 15th February 2026 and brings together employers, training providers and learners from across the UK to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships and skills development.

At Busy Bees Education & Training, National Apprenticeship Week is also an important opportunity to recognise the people who go above and beyond through our Star Awards, celebrating dedication, progress and outstanding achievement across our apprenticeship programmes.

What Is National Apprenticeship Week?

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is an annual celebration of apprenticeships and skills. It highlights how apprenticeships support people of all ages to build meaningful careers while gaining practical, real-world experience.

The 2026 theme, Skills for Life, focuses on how apprenticeships help learners develop transferable skills that support long-term personal growth, confidence and professional development.

Throughout the week, organisations across the country share success stories, promote opportunities and celebrate the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and communities.

Why Apprenticeships Matter at Busy Bees Education & Training

At Busy Bees Education & Training, apprenticeships are central to everything we do. Our programmes are designed to support learners at every stage of their journey, combining recognised qualifications with hands-on workplace experience.

Our apprenticeships enable learners to:

  • Earn while they learn
  • Develop practical, job-ready skills
  • Gain valuable workplace experience
  • Build confidence and long-term career prospects

We work closely with both apprentices and employers to ensure every learner feels supported from enrolment through to achievement.

Celebrating Excellence Through the Busy Bees’ Star Awards

National Apprenticeship Week is also when we proudly celebrate our Busy Bees Training Star Awards.

The Star Awards recognise apprentices who demonstrate exceptional commitment, resilience and progress throughout their learning journey. These awards highlight individuals who truly embody the values of dedication, growth and professionalism.

What the Star Awards Recognise

The Star Awards celebrate apprentices who have:

  • Shown outstanding commitment to their apprenticeship
  • Made significant progress in their learning and development
  • Overcome challenges with determination and resilience
  • Had a positive impact within their workplace or setting

Each Star Award represents a unique story of achievement, making National Apprenticeship Week the perfect time to recognise and share these successes.
