Job Description

Your Mission

To be responsible for the recording and development of innovative, high quality training, which is well planned, personalised and differentiated to meet the needs of the individuals accessing eLearning courses, whilst ensuring the aims and objectives of the company standards are met.


Key Outcomes

As part of your role you will be responsible for working with the Head of Department, E-Learning Coordinator and our creative team to plan, film, animate and edit content according to client for both our in house and external customers and markets.

·         Be responsible for the transport, set up, and operation of production equipment, including camera, audio, and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions

·         Motion Graphic Design using Adobe After Effects in order to construct training courses, and enhance video edits

·         Ability to work with vector images, and adhere to (and build upon) existing brand guidelines

·         Film in a variety of situations including studio, on location at the place of work or off location such as in a centre

·         Effectively utilise technology and style in order to improve the creation of courses in the most flexible and impactful way

·         Stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make the courses/material more marketable

·         Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of motion graphic elements

·         Edit footage in post-production, which may include providing voice over, commentary and selecting suitable music where required

·         Providing opportunities for feedback from employers/clients to assess and approve final cuts

·         To offer advice and guidance at the brief stage to suit all clients’ needs and requirements

·         Work with others to enable a seamless transition of courses onto the platform

·         Managing time and work to meet targets within projects

·         Developing partnership working with our internal and external customers ensuring all learning and business objectives are met

DSLR/Mirrorless Camera Experience (Essential)

Previous use of the Panasonic GH5 (Desirable)

Experience with a Zoom H4N and shotgun mic (Desirable)

Knowledge

· Proven track record in videography and motion design

Personal Qualities

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong decision-making skills

· Organised.
