The Care Certificate is an identified set of standards for people who work in the health and social care sector.
The Care Certificate is designed to give employers, patients and co-workers confidence that practitioners have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high-quality care and support.
New Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers will complete the 15 Care Certificate standards before they work without supervision in any workplace.
Our mobile adaptive, online platform enables workers to access the training on a variety of devices, anytime, anywhere removing the need to complete reams of handbooks. Managers and supervisors can monitor staff progress through the platform providing employers with the assurance their staff have received the highest quality start to their training and induction prior to employment.
Each Standard is completed with an online assessment, removing the need for manager supervision, to indicate that staff have gained the knowledge required to be an effective care worker under the Care Certificate’s requirements.
Once the online study is complete, the care worker is ready for practical observation in the workplace.
Please note that if you would like to obtain competency sign off for the Care Certificate, you will need to arrange this through your employer. You can only achieve the knowledge element of the course through this ELearning course.
The course will cover ALL of the 15 standards and each standard is underpinned by full learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
