A First Aid at Work (FAW) training course is described by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) as meeting the same requirements as EFAW training but it ‘also equips the first aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses’.
This course is more extensive than the EFAW training course and is designed to not only qualify trained employees to respond to a range of situations, but also those which are classed as emergencies.
